I hear you. Christopher Tolkien acts like a baby. If your father is one of the most well recognized authors on the planet maybe you shouldn't strive to be an author. The Hobbit alone has sold over 100 million copies in over 50 languages so there is a good chance you are not going to live up to the precedent set by your father.

Christopher Tolkien should have been a plumber.
